I can't believe my (biggest) baby is already 2. It truly doesn't seem like that long ago we were down at Ft Rucker having him. It makes me sad how fast he's grown but he has turned into the sweetest, well behaved (for the most part) little boy. We couldn't ask for a better son/big brother/kid.
I felt bad planning some big party/day without Jeremy here to partake in the fun. It was a laid back birthday but I'm pretty sure he had fun. We started the day with some poptarts & gift opening with daddy via Skype. When Jeremy was home on R&R we gave him his sand & water table. And because I think you should always be able to open gifts on your birthday he got to open the other gifts we got him which were a small wagon for him to pull his toys in, however it has quickly become a wagon to pull Jaydon around in & a t-ball set. His Gma Brenda & Gpa Loyd also sent a few balloons that quickly turned into punching bags.

"Auntie Mia" (my internet friend) sent him a Toy Story 3 bed tent, a Toy Story flashlight & art set & a the cutest outfit with a monkey on the shirt.

After Skyping & opening gifts we made our way to The Clarksville Cupcake Collection for some cupcakes to share with our friends Christine & Khloe later. They were nice enough to give Jaydon his cupcake once they knew it was his birthday. He picked a strawberry one for himself & a lemon one for his friend Khloe. We've had cupcakes from another place here in Clarksville, which was delicious, but these are average size & only $1.50!

After eating cupcakes we went to The JumpZone to let the kids burn some energy. That will be saved for another blog because we took tons of pictures.

On Sunday June 26 we had a small party with some friends & my mom & step dad & grandparents. He got some great gifts that he can't seem to put down. He got a card from his MeMe & Ack Ack (his term for him not mine) that played the Queen song We Will Rock You & it had a guitar on the front. As soon as he saw & heard it he said "da da" because he remembers Jeremy plays guitar.

Then we had some more yummy Toy Story cupcakes.

My friend Kristen of Jilly Beans Treats made this shirt for him, which he was more than excited to wear since it has Woody on it.

Although we did get to Skype with Jeremy there's nothing like having him home to celebrate with us. So next birthday we'll just have to do it up big & really celebrate to make up for daddy not being here this year.
And finally...a birthday is never complete without singing & candles.
Love it ALL. You are such a wonderful mama and it makes me proud to call you a friend! :) And how, oh how, did I not know that your Jeremy plays guitar??!! You know that my husband owns/works for 2 different guitar businesses?! LOL
