We had one birthday party in IL & one in TN to divide up our divorced families. As much fun as it was having 2 parties it was too much stress. Looks like next year we'll have 1 party in a neutral location & if people don't like it or can't be civil to each other that's their loss.
His party in IL was at my dads. He got alot of gifts he didn't know what to do with but he knew this bat was pretty tasty.
I made the monkey cake & his smash cake. He had no interest in the cake at all, even with some help. It was so humid that day (& HOT in my dads house) the icing on the monkey cake melted but it was still yummy!
