We decided to go to Mt Rainier National Park a couple weekends ago to check things out. I had my heart set on Paradise (yes, it's as beautiful as it sounds). We didn't quite make it that far as we got distracted by views of Rainier at various lookouts.
I'm not sure why Jax can't pose/smile normally anymore...
We ended up stopping at Narada Falls to check it out then decided to hike the 1.5 miles to Reflection Lake (& 1.5 back).
We weren't even a half mile in & Jax was DONE. Like full fledged crying done. We didn't turn back & both boys did amazing on the 3+ mile hike. We were so proud of them. They were even asking when we get to go back.
