1st Visit to the Pumpkin Patch

This past Saturday it finally got cold here....yes, 60 degrees is cold for us! We thought it would be a perfect day for Jaydons first visit to the pumpkin patch. We went to Aplin Farms http://www.aplinfarms.com They have several activities for children to participate in but unfortunately Jaydon is too young to appreciate them. We had a great time anyway & he was in a good mood even though it was so cold & windy out.

There's a cute little sunflower garden so we tried to get some photos in it. Unfortunately the sunflowers had bees on all of them. We had to get a shot of our little pumpkin in the pile of pumpkins. He was more interested in eating his hand & checking out the gourd display next to us. I was just happy he didn't spit up all over the pumpkins.....I'd hate to have to buy them all cuz what would we have done with a dozen spit up covered pumpkins???
