Jeremy returned home this past week--finally. He flew one of the helicopters home & there was bad weather so that delayed them 1 day but all the soldiers made it back safely. We were able to go wait at the hangar to watch them fly in & to greet them. We had a potluck with snacks & even beer which they all appreciated. I figured the occassion was the perfect opportunity for Jaydon to wear his helicopter overalls his Gma Brenda & Gpa Loyd got him for his birthday.
The guys arrived in 2 groups & since Jeremy was in the 2nd group we had a longer wait. Entertaining Jaydon proved to be entertainment for us all...he had fun playing in the beer cooler.
but you can only play in the beer cooler for so long...
so we went outside to wait...

Then we finally saw the birds flying in formation over the trees!!! 
We were able to walk out to greet him as we got out of the helicopter. Jaydon was SOO tired he fell asleep on this walk, probably 2 minutes after this picture was taken. So he didn't even realize Jeremy was here until he woke up in Jeremys arms 30 minutes later. 
and our family is complete again--for a short time.
